Project Description
The region to be served includes a large portion of the Saginaw Bay Watershed, America’s largest contiguous freshwater coastal wetland system. Three school districts are targeted: Flint, Bay City, and Saginaw. The applicant has expertise in professional development and connections to philanthropy. The planning process falls largely on a management team, which is informed by professionally facilitated meetings with community partners and two meetings with K–12 educators.
