Project Description
Discovering PLACE is working to make sure students learn about local community issues and are involved in identifying prudent ways to address them. To achieve this goal, PBE is being used as the tool by which youth will become more empowered to enact local change. Through PBE, students and teachers will develop a stronger connection to their community, a sense of personal responsibility and self efficacy, and an understanding that environmental quality and social equity go hand-in-hand.
